If you like fishing, you'll love Hat Creek Resort & RV Park! As you can see alot of our camping kids like to cast a line and try their best to catch the rainbow and brown trout that swim in Hat Creek!

Away from the water, you'll have lots of fun! Kids, you'll love exploring the pretty woods with your parents and then come back and help them make a campfire to roast hot dogs or make s'mores while having a camp sing-a-long or story time.

There's also lots to explore in the area; from beautiful national parks and historic sites, to canoe trips and water sports, kids like you have plenty to enjoy during your Hat Creek camping stay!

It's a good idea to know some fun travel games to pass the time during your trip to Hat Creek Resort.

Here's one I like!

Rhyme Time
Start with a simple one-syllable word such as "CAT," and take turns supplying rhyming words that belong in the same word family: for example, bat, hat, fat, mat, rat, pat, splat, spat.
Then try to put some of these words together in a silly story, such as "I saw a BAT. It was wearing a HAT. I picked up the MAT. I swung at it and it went SPLAT."
Even the grown-ups with large vocabularies will find themselves challenged to see how many silly songs they can make out of these common words. Why not make your Hat Creek vacation a learning experience?
